I’ve heard of him, yes. Maybe at some point they’ll do more figures (or at least headsculpts) based on former operators, like Travis Haley, Pat McNacmara, etc, or Larry Vickers.
Nice rifle and light sticks, but for my preferences DAM didn’t preview any full figure since 78076 I would buy boxed. Although this one seems to be nice in general. Rifle looks awesome.
Yes, it does look good, also nice that they based it off a real life operator and corresponding reference pictures!
Don’t know if I will get the whole figure, especially with DAM’s current pricing, but I do want the sculpt and body, probably along with the jeans and BDU jacket.
At first glance, the sculpt reminded me of Full Metal from “SEAL Team”, so that head might as well go on an appropriate bash…
Chances are, I’ll buy a pair of these figures.
My only real gripe is the lack of SAPI plates, which is crazy given the nature of plate carriers, and the relatively simple 1/6 moulds.
Damtoys aren’t the only guilty party, E&S should include these too.
To the naked eye it doesn’t make any difference whether the figure has plates or not. Also it probably has something to do with cost cutting? Though Soldier Story still insists on including the plates.
