Nice addition to the first Figure. Some very good new parts and we get the RISR Cheek Riser :slightly_smiling_face:. Very useful for CAG Figures.

Dammit this one is awesome too. Must have.

A very interesting release. I might have to get the JPC 2.0 from both of the A & B figures, since unfortunately neither of theirs have integrated radio pouches on both sides. I would need to transfer the right pouches from the JPC of this new B figure to the JPC from the A figure belonging to some of my CAG and DEVGRU bashes that would have dual comms, such as the squad leader and maybe the tech specialist. This is because I don’t like the fact that the B JPCs have 2 cumberbund straps instead of the normal 3. Other than that, I’ll probably just get the helmets, holsters, pistols, and maybe the headsculpt from the A version.

I’ll take a pass on the RAC from B, as my experiences with similar ones from the General’s armory urban raider figure have not been positive, in regards to attaching them on the helmet. Not only that, but the headset cable that connects it to the PTT can’t be unattached like those made by DAM, meaning that since the RAC is rail mounted, I can’t remove the helmet without also removing the whole radio setup along with it. The same goes for the Comtac 3s from the A Version. So I’ll just equip all of my bashes with DAM Comtac 3s instead, either under the helmet ones or rail-mounted versions.

I noticed it as well, now that you mention it. Hopefully I can source loose 3d-printed versions of those risers for my rifles with prexisting CTR stocks.

It is a new part from E&S but you could also get the cheek Riser from CalTek. For example from the OBR Rifle from the Preacher Figure. I am very pleased to get this part now :-). Very often seen at CAG rifles. Also the SAS use this part. If they done it right you could move the part like the real one. Hopefully it is movable…

Picture from LaRue Tactical:

I am aware of that particular riser. I have been endeavoring to source a black version of the stock from the Caltek preacher rifle, which features the riser along with a POD (prone Optimization Device) for my CAG sniper kitbash to equip on either his recce 14.5 HK416 or M110. The only one I know that comes in that color comes from one of the Very Cool multicam figures, but despite great effort I have been unable to track one down at all. Although I suppose that painting an identical stock in black may be a viable option, if not the only one. While I am no stranger to buying weapons just for scavenging a single part, the rising prices of such parts has made such a practice financially unwise outside of large sales.

But if I were able to acquire the appropriate stock, I would attempt to paint some sort of camo pattern on the top of it, while keeping the rest of the weapon in black. I know that they have specially shaped masking tape available that allows one to paint on camo patterns. Although I should probably wait until I get a decent airbrush setup before I attempt such an endeavor.

A must buy for me, with the A version.
My wish is granted : a 10’’ barrel for the HK.
Combined with the 2 versions, a lot of loose parts to make a good modern CAG.

That is what they should have used for the Lone Rescuer.

Some super nice new parts here:

  • Arc’teryx pants (I think?) are updated from the ones they did several years ago
  • Jacket/top - was that released in AOR1 before?
  • JPC - I like the 2-row cummerbund
  • Back panel!!! Finally!
  • War belt - glad to see it
  • Rifle - I know it’s not very different from the other CAG rifle but I like that that they made an effort to clone the “Soflete grip guy’s” rifle.
  • More Crye 330D pouched (think that’s what they’re called)

The jacket is the Arc’teryx Gryphon halfshell. It was previously included with the E&S NSWDG HALO insertion figure in AOR1, the E&S NSWDG tandem HALO set in multicam , and the MSE ZERT HALO nuke team-Wolf figure in solid black with gray lining. I actually own the black one, and I’m very glad that I do. It not only includes a hood, but it’s thin enough at the bottom that it can be used as a top in the place of a crye combat shirt.

Thanks! Thought it was something like this. My kit knowledge is slipping apparently

not mine…some cool parts, but thats it:-/

Guess, I will be getting both. I I wonder that so far nobody has been calling for an LVAW…

I know that I’ve suggested that they should make one at least a dozen times now. But since they are basing these figures and their respective loadouts off of reference photos, we will have to wait until they get to one that does have that weapon. I know that the LVAWs found in more recent photos are equipped with the 40 round mags that are on these figures. Since they are based largely on the photos taken during the Kabul maternity ward incident in combination with the photos of “Miller’s boys”, I suspect that it is only a matter of time before E&S get to one of the operators with that weapon. Although I’m not certain of whether those guns will have the same setups as the ones in the photos, if they are, then when I buy mine (3 for my devgru bashes and at least 1 for my CAG bashes) I will see about selling the 40 round mags loose as I think that 30 rounds would look better and because they would take up to much space on plate carriers as well as battle belts.

Speaking of plate carriers, based on the two row cumberbund and the horizontal mag pouches, I think that they were trying to replicate the crye SPC, given the fact that all of the operators that I’ve seen have three row cumberbunds on their JPCs. Maybe because they couldn’t or didn’t want to make a proper SPC yet.

I just didn’t so I didn’t sound to negative lol, but I’m definitely not happy about the weapon selection, I feel e&s could have afforded an lvaw mold but blew their budget on bad offerings like the winter accessory set or the new scar sets, also even though the description says the 416 is a new color it’s the same paint job on the receiver as the CAG breacher figure so I’m sure they just slapped some stuff together for this one, all that interests me on this one is the pc and pack, what is so bad about these two figures is the rifles though, e&s should have done proper tannodized 416’s, the fact we got crappies painted ones and no lvaw is so disappointing

For what they are, they’re perfectly fine releases in my eyes. In fact if I were to recommend a boxed figure as a good and reasonably affordable starting point to someone who wants to enter the hobby, I’d probably choose these ones. The fact that it includes a slim molle battle belt, a more accurate version of the 63054 holster, an opscore helmet with the tyr cover, a new winkler tomahawk, new JPC 2.0s with back panel packs, and a stock with a large riser more than make up for the lack of an LVAW.

Oh and regarding the zip on pouch panel on this particular figure, how would I attach some sort of hydration pouch?

I think a small (2L?) bladder would be fit horizontally in one of the pouches on the back panel. Or, it could slide straight in between the panel and the JPC, without a MOLLE pouch

I found a video of that back panel, and it apparently has a pouch on the back for hydration packs or maybe even a bolt cutter.

I agree this has been the biggest oversight with any figures aiming for a Delta. Tanodized finish + a Wilcox riser would be greatly preferred by customers as that is their standard rifle that everyone is familiar with. Camo or weathered finishes while neat and often very appropriate for a given reference photo do not go over particularly well with customers in comparison.
