That is a great price, indeed! I had feared a much higher retail price. For 120 bucks, this is a sure buy for me! And yes, E&S are certainly turning into my favorite company, too!
If “entry level” means less gear and no MOLLE, it’s okay with me, since there is an abundance of loose pouches etc. to be had. Personally, I would rather pay for more gear instead of a head and body. In an accessory set, the company could invest more money in gear and still charge the same price.
With figure prices steadily increasing to ever new levels, E&S may have a smart business idea, here, supplying figures of some quality but with less gear at a reasonable price. These can then be expanded with loose parts by the collector. Also, less expensive figures might bring new people to the hobby or bring back those, who have shunned the rocketing prices. At least, this is a better approach, than selling 1/12 figures at slightly lower prices than a 1/6 release… In general, I think that E&S have been the company that has tried to keep its prices steady, which keeps me buying their stuff.
