Very cool. That shroud on the suppressor is interesting.

Yeah, I did some research on why SIG built a miniature bingo ball hopper around the suppressor - turns out it’s an aramid shroud to comply with the procurement requirements. The suppressor gets incredibly hot when the required number of rounds per interval is fired through it, and the operator must be protected from this heat through one layer of military clothing. BDUs, gloves, etc. I take it. The suppressor shroud allows SIG to meet this requirement.
